A register of meteorological observations from May 26th 1780 to the & end of the year, made at Cambridge Lat. 42^o25 min North.Long. 71^o W ? from greenwich by & Wigglesworth ?? Premonition The barometer and thermometer ?? in making the following observations were made by James which ?? determined the the height of the Mercury in ?? ?? to an hundredth of an inch, with the greatest Accuracy. The Thermometer is graduated ac- cording to Fahrenheits scale, the freezing point being at 32^o, bloodhead at 96^o. This graduated upwards to 212^o, and downwards to 38^o below the magnitude Points. (second part) Premonition The Barometer and thermometer used in making the?? ?? Observations, ?? ?? by james ?? of London. A nonius scale is fixed to the Barometer, which determines the height of the Mercury in the Scale ?? ??--------------?? with the Greatest accuracy. The Thermometer is graduated according to Fahrenheits scale, the freezing point being ar 32 degrees and blood heat at 96. This graduated upwards to 242 degrees, and downwards to 38 de- grees below the negative Point from its ?? ?? and is adapted to determine, with greater Precision, all that ? to ? this ? is ?. The Thermometer is that used by the late hon. ?? Professor Wintrop, in making his Observations. The Barometer and Thermometer are hung in a staircase, by the side of a North Window. ? the temperate Sea ? of the year, the Thermometer was actually exposed to the external Air in the ? and in the proximity of the barometer nearly, a fourth Window in the ? was open in the Night.
